It is one of the largest universities in Poland and currently consists of 16 faculties (including 3 medical faculties at the Collegium Medicum UMK in Bydgoszcz). The university employs 4,052 staff members across its locations in Toru\u0144 and Bydgoszcz, more than half of whom are academic teachers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"675\">In a Europe-wide selection process, the Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 chose the alphadidact\u00ae Digital multimedia training system from EBS in June 2020.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"890\">19 Leica microscopes (1 instructor + 18 students) were multimedia-networked. EBS technology enables the image transmission of digital microscope cameras to all monitors, as well as to projectors and large screens.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1084\">The live work of an individual student at the microscope is transmitted lag-free to all connected screens. The signal is transmitted in high resolution and is executed with just one keystroke.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1255\">Interactive and dynamic training becomes possible by integrating individual participants.
